Recently Alisha and I switched from using Internet Explorer (we both had the google bar installed on IE) to Mozilla Firefox. We also installed several other great extensions. After setting everything up and using it for a few weeks, I wanted to share our review of Firefox and its extensions including the google toolbar for Mozilla Firefox.
You probably wonder why we switched to Firefox after 11 years browsing the web with Internet Eplorer. The main reasons we switched to Firefox include the following:
1. Mozilla Firefox is an open-source browser.
2. Useful Firefox extensions (bits of code which allow you to customize your browser).
- Google Bar for Firefox: adds google search and inproves browsing safety (warns of potential phishing websites)
- FireFTP: ftp client integrated with Firefox
- Dictionary Tooltip: provides a dictionary definition when you double click words in your web browser
- Tab Mix Plus: extra tab browsing options like restoring old browser sessions
- downTHEMall: download manger packaged inside browser
- Numerous other Firefox Extensions
3. Mozilla Firefox with the google bar provides much better security than IE.

4. Firefox strongly supports tabbed browsing (a must have when you have 15-20 websites open).
5. Active community devoted to improving Firefox and Firefox Extensions
6. Hype (Yes we really are influenced by our peers *wink*).
7. Ease of switching internet preferences and favorites from Internet Explorer.
In conclusion, using Firefox is a great experience. We have enjoyed the whole trip, from the ease of installing extensions (like the Google toolbar for Firefox) to the actual browsing experience. If we had it do over again, we would have switched well before Mozilla Firefox 1.5 was available for review!

As a note of correction, many people are looking for the free mozila fire fox download, or the free download mozilla fire fox with google bar. If you want to download Firefox with the google toolbar for free, scroll up to the link at the top of this page; and, remember, the correct way to spell "mozila" is Mozilla, the correct way to spell "fire fox" is Firefox, and the correct way to spell "google bar" is Google Toolbar. :)
We don't recommend it, but if you prefer the yahoo toolbar, download the yahoo toolbar for firefox.
