Holland: over three weeks old!one of the four new chicks the girls bought yesterday (with their birthday money).and this is what that little chick may look like when it grows up. wierd.as i was cooking last night, i started to laugh at the sight of myself. so i thought i'd share what my cooking space looks like these days. . . (of course a full panoramic of the kitchen would include: --my laptop right next to... -- all the dirty dishes and. . . -- the plants we're starting indoors, -- my overflowing compost bucket (because i am NOT going out in the April SNOW). . . -- a pile of dirty laundry that i won't wash until it's warm enough outside to hang it on the line. . . -- and so much more but right in the heart of all that chaos is my new little one; peacefully watching me dance around the kitchen.
the girls LOVE their grass head planters. i believe the little guys have had a hair cut every day of their short lives. kinds sounds like the Zeds of Dr. Seuss. . . tell me i'm not the only one who knows what i'm talking about.i just love this one. his feet are so fascinating to me. . .i told you i was crazy about his feet. i took this picture and the next right after he nursed - so he's in my lap. ah, multi-tasking." am i finished? hmm. . . let me think that one over a while."
