Elena is 4 now and so happy about it!sliding at carl's jr. the "indoor park" as it was something like 13 degrees that daycaught! by aunt aletathank you to jed & aleta for chasing the girls around AND taking pictures while i finished the cake :)
isa, not happy that i am not letting her decorate the cakejoin in the chasing - that's betterjed got some really great shots - especially considering that elena was bouncing off the walls and would NOT hold still - thanks again!
did i mention she would not hold still? cool picture, thoughworking on the cake - be amazed that i let this picture slide by and actually put it on the internet! go ahead, try to find another picture of me on this website :)Finally done. And may i just say, in my defense, that Elena asked, specifically, for "a cake with a volcano and dinosaurs and dead dinosaurs in the lava"she loved the cake - and even pointed out that, yes, there were dinosaurs dying in the lava. she and isa were both thrilled and kept running back to the cake (i'd say every 2 or 3 minutes) to look at it and discuss it (tell stories about what the dinosaurs were doing. the funny thing is that nobody got a picture of her smiling around her cake.
maybe she was a dinosaur in a previous life?just a few pics of isa too (we didn't get near as many pics of her on her bday 2 months ago)this is a smile - she is sure that "smile" means "squeeze your eyes shut tight" :)
