So, for all the family members who wonder how to post on this cool website, here are some useful directions.

--To post a blog entry:

Note: if you want to associate a photo gallery with your blog, set this up first (see instructions below).

1. Click Site Admin at the bottom of the page.
2. Log in (check with Alisha if you've forgotten your info; do not ask Ed).
3. Click the word "here" to continue (obvious).
4. Click on blogs/news, and select your name.
5. Click Add Message. Enter a title, write your message, and check the "send to mailing list" box (NOT the "member mailing list" box).
6. Click "Save."

--To post photos or create a photo gallery:

1. Do steps 1-3 above to get logged in.
2. Select "Gallery."
3. Input file name. My file names are supposed to look like "ben_cami_name" and I change the word "name" to be whatever the name is. I assume yours will look the same way, but with your names in place of ben and mine.
4. Give your gallery a name, then skip all else unless you want to write an intro to your gallery).
5. Check the "Accept Comments" box, and select "Create Gallery."
6. Click "Gallery" up top right, and select the name of the gallery that you designated in step 4.
7. Upload photos in small jpeg format by clicking "Choose File," and add captions if you want.
8. Click "Upload" and "Save."

You can then associate this gallery with a blog posting.

Hope that helps! Let's band together to astonish Ed and Alisha by posting like crazy on the website. So far they're beating the pants off everyone in the family with their posting numbers, but maybe we'll catch up someday. I don't know, though, because they have awesome stories.
